Fursman Physiotherapy is proud to sponsor one of British Eventings most up and coming young event riders, who already has an impressive record!

Somerset based Phoebe has had continued success over the past few years within the eventing world. She started her riding career focusing on show jumping as a child. Phoebe competed at both Horse of the Year Show and Hickstead in the National 128 and 138 classes for six consecutive years, as well as being fortunate enough to win at Olympia Horse Show on her pony “Dynamite Diggy". At just eight years old, Phoebe made her England Show Jumping team debut on her ride "Just Cyber Space" and continued representing her country for five more years, winning many Gold and Silver medals.

After a childhood filled with show jumping, Phoebe decided that she would like to focus on eventing. She had only owned her two event ponies for eight months before her talents were recognised by the Great Britain selectors. Phoebe was chosen to be part of the Great Britain squad to travel to the European Championships in Millstreet, where the team finished second. Her first season ended on a big high, being announced as the best 14 years and under event rider in Great Britain, as chosen by the board of selectors. Phoebe was selected to represent her country the following year at the European Championships in Malmo, Sweden. This time the team won gold!!

Phoebe has now moved onto horses where her success continues. Her aim for the 2016 season was to represent Team GB at the Junior European Championships in Montelibretti, Italy. She managed to achieve this (and was the first person to move from ponies to horses and represent Team GB in consecutive years since 2005) and was an key member of the bronze medal winning team. In 2017, Phoebe was again selected to represent GB at her fourth consecutive European championships where this time the team won silver and Phoebe was fifth individually. She was the only team member to finish on her dressage score.

For the past four years, Phoebe has been supported by Fursman Physiotherapy. "I have been fortunate enough to compete for Great Britain at the Europeans on both the Pony and Junior Teams, as well as now contesting at 3* level. Molly has been a huge part of my team throughout all of these milestones and her knowledge has been invaluable. Her attention to detail is second to none which is very important! It is vital that my horses are feeling a well as they can in order to get the best out of them, and Molly makes this possible! Molly has been a part of our team four four years now and I hope that this will continue!"
